559 head yarded this week. The market was on fire today, with all descriptions 15c/kg dearer with some categories dearer by 40c/kg. Cows saw an increase today with heavy fat cows selling to exceptional rates. Heavy feeder steers saw an increase in price with most steers selling from $4.80 to $5/kg, with the best pen selling over $5/kg. Weaner and re-stockers gained momentum due to some good widespread rainfall over the last few weeks.
