Livestock - |

The Sarina Combined Agents held their annual “Battle of the Breeds” Weaner & Feeder Sale on the 29th of May. Agents yarded a record-breaking 1400 head for Sarina yards consisting of 945 Steers & 455 Heifers. The market was dearer to quote across all lines presented due to the high quality presented by the vendors. Flatback Weaner Steers sold to a top of $1,630 & Brahaman Steers to $1,210. Feeder Steers met strong competition selling to $2,010 and Breeder/Feeder Heifers to $2,080. Weaner Heifers met strong competition from restockers topping at $1,480. Buyers were in attendence from Clarke Creek, Moranbah, Taroom, South East QLD, Dingo & our local graziers. Once again the Combined Agents would like to thank our vendors, buyers, livestock transporters, sponsors & our judge ‘Tess Bitmead’ from Camm Agricultural Group.
