614 head yarded this week. 200 head of cows on offer with the majority of those being store cows. The store cow market was exceptional today with most cows selling from $2.70/kg to $3.20/kg, with the best pen reaching $3.51. Fat cows also saw a lift of over 40c/kg topping at just under $4/kg. Bulls also saw gains of 10-15c/kg. No bullocks to quote this week. Feeder heifers also gained momentum with strong buying competition throughout. Weaner and re-stocker steers sold to a dearer market today with several buyers in attendance.
