Sarina Combined Agents yarded a total of 289 head comprising of 110 steers, 92 heifers, 48 cows, 19 x 19 cows and calves, 8 bulls and 12 micks. Mixed yarding of cattle at the sale, however, was firm all the way through, with heavy kill bullocks topping $2040, and the best of cows making up to $1900. Steer market held firm compared to other centres with feeder steers making up to $1880 and lighter steers making between $600 to $1000. The best of the heifers got out to $1300, with competition for weaner heifers making between $500 to $800.
