685 head yarded today. Export and slaughter market remained unchanged from last week. Heavy feeder steers also held firm on previous weeks. Had an excellent run of HGO treated, spayed heifers come to hand and sold to a strong market with the first 5 pens making $4.27/kg with the 87 head averaging $1500. The backgrounder and re-stocker steer market was hot today after some recent rainfall with most good quality steers selling over $5/kg.
