A rain affected yarding saw Hayes and Co yard 281 head at the first Kilcoy Store and Fat Sale for 2025, with all descriptions selling to an extremely dearer market. Processing cows and heifers sold to dearer market with a new buyer in attendance. Weaner steers and heifers as well as backgrounder steers and heifers were very strongly sought with local buyers competing strongly against travelled buyers leaving vendors with prices exceeding expectations.
