FRIDAY 26TH APRIL 2024 – 1021 HEAD

The Nebo Combined Agents Sale on Friday 26th April 2024 saw a total yarding of 1021 head comprising of 761 Steers, 189 Heifers, 50 Cows, and 21 Bulls. The market held firm to slighter dearer than other sales with buyers present from Springsure, Taroom and Tully as well as the local region.

HIGHLIGHTS

Suttor Creek Pastoral, Glenden sold Charbray steers for 318c/kg weighing 478kg to return $1523/head. They also sold Brahman steers for 300c/kg weighing 430kg to return $1292/head.

Day Cattle Co, Nebo offered Brahman cross steers selling up to 316.2 c/kg to average $1177.

Joyce Paul, Nebo sold Belmont Red steers to return $1216.

John & Wendy Grant, Scottville sold Braford cows for 206.3c/kg realising $1366. They also sold Braford/Charolais cross feeders steers making 322.2c/kg to return $1541/head.

Stan Fordham, Scottville sold heavy Braford/Charolais cross feeder steers for 320.2c/kg making $1640/head and his Braford/Charolais cross heifers made 236.2c/kg coming back at $1023/head.

AM & BR Black, Valkyrie sold a VGQ run of steers & heifers. The Charbray steers topped at 330c/kg returning $1,619.92 & the Charbray heifers topped at 252c/kg returning $847.52.

Muggera Pty Ltd, Nebo sold a quality run of flatback and Brahman steers with the lead run of the steers making 320c/kg returning $1,206.10.

K Black, Sandringham offered VGQ Charbray weaner steers & heifers with the steers selling to 332c/kg returning $1,063 & the heifers to 236c/kg making $715.35.
