The market today was noticeably dearer for most descriptions. Export and slaughter cattle saw a rise of 10-15 cents across the board. Not a lot of heavy feeders on offer today, although the steers on hand sold to competitive rates. Weaner steers met a strong panel of buyers today and sold very well.
