A reduced yarding of 514 head for this week. The export and slaughter cattle were easier again this week due to the short weeks coming up. No heavy feeder steers to quote and feeder heifers also sold to a softer trend this week. Backgrounder and restocker steers were in short supply but the steers on offer held reasonably firm on last week. Weaner steers and heifers sold to a softer trend.
