Hayes & Co yarded 410 head at the first Silverdale Store sale for 2025. The market was dearer for all descriptions due largely to the top quality yarding of feeder and backgrounding steers and heifers. Prices were driven by regular feedlot buyers and the introduction of two new feedlot buyers from Taroom. Backgrounding cattle were also strongly sought after with the majority going to Western areas.
