SECOND SILVERDALE ANNUAL WEANER SALE 2025 – MARKET REPORT
Saturday 17th May 2025 – 1730 Head
The Second Silverdale Annual Weaner Sale on Saturday 17th May was quoted by many as the best quality yarding Silverdale has seen since its inception. The sale saw a total yarding of 1730 head dominated by Charolais infused cattle with two full rows of Charolais infused steers and one and a half rows of heifers. As always the market for these weaners was very strong and this sale saw more tropical breeds flourish, gaining more attention than the previous weeks. With a wide variety of travelled and local buyers, many went home empty handed with the majority of the cattle going North, South, East and West which reflected on the terrific season across the state.
The next Silverdale Weaner Sale will be held on the Saturday 21st of June 2025.
