KILCOY STORE & FAT SALE – 14TH JUNE 2025 – MARKET REPORT
A record yarding for Hayes & Co of 720 head was yarded at the Kilcoy Store & Fat Sale on Saturday. A glorious line-up of very well bred weaner steers highlighted by Jimna Grazing, Coogar Pty Ltd, Bechly Family, Hanton Family and many others, saw the market very strong for steers with new Western Downs buyers in attendance competing with the usual local and western buyers. The heifer market was patchy in places with isolated strong sales for heifers with more condition and weight. There weren’t many cows to quote on but all processing buyers were in attendance.
