Cattle at the annual Weaner Sale were in hot demand with record breaking prices at Silverdale resulting in many buyers going home empty handed. With a yarding of 1193 top quality cattle drawn from all the local areas as well as Central Queensland, over half of the yarding were taken into clean country areas with buyers drawn from New South Wales, Western and Central Queensland.
- B & J Surawski donated an outstanding limousin heifer with auction proceeds of $1270 being shared between 4 Aussie Heroes and Rotary Beef Bank.
- Billy Johnson took out 1st place for both Steers and heifers with steers making $1360 and heifers making $1150, with the steers also bringing in Champion Pen.
- D & L Johnson sold lines of Charbray steers taking out 2nd place with the steers topping at $1190 and averaging $1000 with the heifers making $960.
- SA & BE Ferris sold their usual top-quality line of angus steers topping at $1300 and averaging a cracking $1201 with the heifers making $840.
- D&F Morrison sold Charbray steers to top at $1310 to average $1088 with the heifers making $760.
- Mountview Pastoral of Wivenhoe sold lines of weaners to average $1133 with the steers topping at $1150 taking out 3rd place and the heifers topping at $1120.
- LJ & S Reinke sold Santa weaners to average $1140 with the steers making $1070 and the heifers topping at $1340 to average $1160.
- R & N Bahmui of Longreach sold Santa weaners with the steers topping at $1120 and the heifers topping at $1300 to take out 2nd place.
- Boto Enterprises of Nebo sold Brangus weaner steers to top at $1200 and average $1067.
- Estate of Mark Hayes sold euro steers for $1150 and heifers for $1070.
- PL & AM Willett sold Charbray weaner steers for $1120.
- T Bischoff Family Trust sold Santa steers to top at $1130 to average $1073.
- L Bischoff sold Santa weaners with the steers topping at $1030 and averaging $915 and the heifers topping at $820 and averaging $725.
- Christensen Family sold Hereford x weaners with the steers and heifers making $860 and the heifers taking out 3rd place.
- GYV Partnership sold Charbray weaners with the steers making $900 and the heifers making $860.
- The Hovey Family sold weaners with the steers topping at $1080 to average $1028. SJ Moffatt sold weaner steers to top at $1090.
