The slaughter and export market remained very firm today with a great run of fat cows coming to hand. Heavy feeder steers continue to sell to a steady market. Feeder heifers saw an increase in price today with good quality flat backs making over $5/kg. Weaner steers have seen large rise in price with quality steers making over $6/kg and heifers selling over $5/kg.
