A larger yarding this week, highlighted by a spectacular line of pasture heifers from Rugby Farms, saw a fully firm market for most categories. Cows held firm on last week, but bullocks saw a slight increase. The exceptional quality line up of pasture fed heifers were dearer than previous weeks with new buyers in attendance. There were few feeder cattle to quote on, but prices were similar to last week as were weaners and vealers.
