The Sarina Combined Agents Prime & Store Sale on Friday yarded a total of 220 head comprising of 66 steers, 144 heifers, 8 cows and 2 bulls. The market held firm to dearer in all aspects of the sale. Wide spread rain reflected on the sale in a positive way with the majority of buying power seen from restocking programs. Only a very limited number of cows were available, and those present were mostly in store condition, which was reflected in the market. Steers held firm to dearer in places, averaging over $1,000 across the board. A good yarding of weaner heifers were penned and the market reflected a very positive result. Buyers from west of Sarina were the main influence of the market.
