Another top quality yarding of 316 head was yarded at the Kilcoy Store and Fat Sale on Saturday. The market was fully firm on the last sale for all descriptions except vealer heifers. Meatwork’s cattle and store cows were dearer with new buyers from Casino and Springsure in attendance. A very good yarding of backgrounder and weaner steers saw fierce competition between travelled buyers from Tambo and Taroom and local buyers resulting in overwhelming prices for the vendors.
